Technoself Immersive
Technoself Immersive
The self is not a thing, but a process.

Technoself

TechnoSelf Immersive: a place for computer scientists and percussionists alike; a mixing pot for artists of all kinds, be it musical, oratorical, visual, engineering, scientific, economic, technological, political, unwoke/woke.

This deliberate cross-pollination will expose unknown similarities between once disparate art forms, thus allowing the participants to be transformed/awakened to larger theoretical structures of connection.

TechnoSelf Immersive:
An enjoyable cheat code for personal expansion.
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez / Deantoni Parks Duo
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez / Deantoni Parks Duo
Omar Alfredo Rodríguez-López (born September 1, 1975) is an American multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, writer, actor and film director. He is known for being the guitarist and band-leader of the Mars Volta from 2001 until their breakup in 2012, and is the guitarist for the alternative rock groups At the Drive-In, Antemasque and Bosnian Rainbows. He was also the bassist for the dub band De Facto. He has embarked on a solo career, both in studio and in concert, frequently described as experimental, avant-garde and/or progressive. He has collaborated with numerous artists spanning from John Frusciante to El-P.

The recordings involving inimitable Atlanta-based drummer Deantoni Parks have covered a multitude of styles, all of them progressive in approach. He has been a member of new wave contortionists Kudu and art rockers Bosnian Rainbows. As a recording and performing drummer, he has worked with a broad scope of artists that includes Yohimbe Brothers, Alice Smith, Me'Shell Ndegeocello, the Mars Volta, John Cale, and Flying Lotus. Parks has also found time to produce material under his own name, which ranges from high-powered synth pop instrumentals to chopped-up beatscapes. Touch But Don't Look was released in 2012 through RLP, operated by frequent collaborator Omar Rodríguez-López. Technoself arrived three years later on the Stones Throw-affiliated Leaving label.

Stefan Ringer
Stefan Ringer
Stefan Ringer.. I am from Stockbridge, GA suburb of Atlanta, GA. I began making music in 2007 and DJing in 2009. Danceable, intelligent, and soulful, are just a few words that describe my sound. I take influences from many genres and incorporate various aspects of each into my music. Including House, Disco, Soul, Jazz, Techno, Bass, Afrobeat, and many others. What I strive to do when I step up to the decks is make the people move, and feel the groove.
Chris Devoe
Chris Devoe
Inspired by childhood memories of jazz records and soul 45's, Chris Devoe creates moods which are both dreamlike and abstract. He is a veteran of Atlanta’s music scene, bridging the city’s underground hip-hop, indie and experimental camps as a DJ and a member of the hip hop duo Social Studies, the band Warsaz, as well as a solo project called With The Moon. He has performed in many of Atlanta’s most popular art and music venues, including 529, Capsule, Eyedrum, The HIGH Museum, Atlanta Contemporary Arts and Mammal Gallery.

As a self-taught musician, Chris' music reflects a life-long interest in diverse genres of music and art, as well as a dedication to designing melodies that honor the contributions of every instrument. His creative process is unmistakably informed by his knowledge of acoustic instrumentation and sampling, bringing the warm textures of analog sound to his distinct electronic style. As a solo artist, Chris has shared the stage with various performers, including Roberto Lange, LebLaze, Dabrye, Richard Devine, Machinedrum, Shigeto, Mykki Blanco and many others. He has also toured internationally in Japan for the music label Arepaz/Beta Bodega Coalition, releasing an album and a number of 12 and 7 inches for the label.
