Nick Hook
Transplanted from St. Louis to NYC’s East Village, Nick Hook began turning tables, starting bands and collecting synthesizers at a young age. His universal brand of dirty, analogue dance music has traveled around the world from New York to Tokyo for more than 10 years. With multiple releases under his belt as founding member of Cubic Zirconia, Hook’s eccentric roster of collaborative productions with the likes of EL-P, L-Vis and Azealia Banks reflects an undying affinity for all types of electronic music.

For BLKMORRIS, one half of the VAVLTBOYZ's duo, the best parties are small, intimate and probably invitation-only. Despite a brief stint as a strip club DJ when he was a teenager, BLKMORRIS was content with operating as one of the more influential invisible hands in Atlanta's underground scene. Parties, aesthetics, music... anything considered 'cool,' BLKMORRIS likely had (and continues to have) some involvement with it.

This hasn't changed... but having cultivated so many relationships with DJs over the years, BLKMORRIS decided to give remixing, curating sounds and even DJ'ing a shot.

Heavily inspired by 90s R & B, and his native city of Atlanta, BLKMORRIS, aims to bring sexy back to the dance floor. With his partner in crime Heroes x Villains, the duo invented The Vavlt: a dark, clandestine gathering of industry types on the frontier of creative culture. From the Vavlt, comes their landmark mix tape series Luxury Trap featuring three volumes each containing luxurious, textured sonic landscapes loaded with R & B vocals and trap music samples galore.

Sofa King Evil
Sofa King Evil
The resident DJ for the longtime running monthly dance parties such as “Sloppy Seconds” and “Down ‘N Durty,” Sofa King Evil is an Atlanta club scene staple. Versatile and entertaining, Sofa King Evil sets the mood and energy of the dance floor, blows it up, resurrects and destroy the dance floor once again. A musical rollercoaster ride whose track selection knows no limits or boundaries keeps audiences finding themselves dancing and singing along to songs they love and hate. A two time Creative Loafing Best of Atlanta Award Winner (2012 & 2013), he joined the world renowned Scratch DJ Academy as an Instructor in 2014.
