Higher Learning
Higher Learning
Tearing through space and time in a rickety Moog-powered spaceship, Higher Learning is well on their way towards the outer reaches of Jupiter. Armed only with the spirit of exploration, the four psychonauts from the streets of Atlanta, GA gaze through the haze of the cockpit out into the little-known expanse of our fine universe. Their mission, daunting as it may be, is simple at its core: to distill the cosmos into sound. Their natural abilities to endure long periods of isolation and odd sleep schedules have enabled them to strive towards this goal with unbridled tenacity. Over the course of their journey, they have performed at festivals such as Wakarusa, Moogfest, Suwanne Hulaween and Counterpoint to sharing the stage with artists such as Tycho, Disco Biscuits, Lotus, Big Gigantic, Papadosio, Bluetech and EOTO to name a few. From their collectively-twisted mind comes a sonic stew composed of liberal portions of analogue and digital frequencies - grounded for your pleasure by the familiar sounds of a live four-piece band. HL cordially invites you to join them on their interstellar adventures forward into the great wide yonder. Planets will turn, stars will die, and new stars will be born. Only one thing is for sure - you will want to hear it all.
The Difference Machine
The Difference Machine
There are many planes of consciousness, but in the one that we call the here and the now, The Difference Machine are a psychedelic hip-hop group from Atlanta, Georgia. Since 2011, they've been at the vanguard of the city's underground scene, creating gritty, mind-expanding anthems that explore the unifying lines between conscious rap and abstract soundscapes, the dividing wall between the blood-stained realities of twenty-first century urban America and the sublime mysticism of an opaque universe.

The group's latest sonic attack, The 4th Side of the Eternal Triangle, bumps and soars, breathing additional fire and compositional daring into their already formidable style. Your guide on this stark metaphysical journey is rapper Dustin Teague whose scathing cultural surveys and dimensional truths help give shape to producer Dr. Conspiracy's warped beats and nuclear mystical trash alchemy. Rounding out the group's songwriting core is longtime drummer Radley Fricker and DJ Obeah who handles most of the cuts on the record. Meanwhile, Cyrus Shahmir, formerly of psych rock cosmonauts the N.E.C., was recruited to conjure his hallucinogenic atmospheres and shamanistic vibes on guitar and keys. The result of this collaborative effort is a more expansive sound architecture layered in primal energy and head-swimming celestial sophistication.

Deku & Saude
Deku & Saude
Brett Leggitt or "Deku" is an Atlanta producer who makes loop-based experimental electronic music. Being very fickle and constantly infatuated with some new sound, instrument, or technique results in the producer covering a wide palette of styles and genres. His self-described "primitive" methods give his music a unique texture and flavor all it's own. As such, many of Deku's works are littered with a variety of sources covering the spectrum from field recordings and noise pollution to found sounds, traditional samples, and hand-crafted (and recorded) instrumentation. He has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with fellow Atlanta producers HeRobust, 10th Letter, REKchampa, and Divine Interface. In addition, he has also had the honor of playing alongside Dabrye, Shigeto, Panther God, MONO/POLY, and Free the Robots (among others). New stuff coming soon and often.
